Mayakkam Enna – Selvaraghavan is back on his home ground and hits a six… It has all the ingredients of Selva’s movie mixed well… The background score is the soul of the movie… First half belongs to Dhanush and second half to Richa… Her character makes a remarkable impact at the end… A job done well!
Deivathirumagal – A very average attempt… The movie has some brilliant moments but on the whole the execution and direction has let it down… Vikram has put best efforts on his performance but after some time it becomes monotonous….

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara – A breezy movie to watch… There is no story or plot to look out for… But the light heartedness of the script, the characters and their reflection of life absolutely beautiful… Spain plays a character in the movie and looks ever gorgeous as in Woody Allen’s Barcelona!
Stanley Ka Dabba – Simple, realistic and ends with a strong message… This is one of the movies which shouldn’t have an interval… The second half is very engaging
Endhiran – Kudos to Shankar and Rajini to do a script which did not rally around Rajini’s mass value, out and out Shankar movie with a different concept, larger than life incidents, dramatic sequences, a great entertainer. only short coming was the length of the movie, Shankar had tried reinforcing several things to prepare the audience to the sci fi concept. Otherwise its a rising sun of Indian cinema!
Rajneeti – Caught in directors dilemma of basing it on Mahabharat or God Father. Prakash Jha fails to create the same punch as he had done in Gangajal or Apaharan in his native style. Though a good political plot the screenplay might appear to be dragging for people who have seen God Father and many other Mahabharat adaptations. If you haven’t seen movies like Godfather then you might like this one…

Rann – typical RGV movie… it gets on track right from first shot and somewhere in the middle falters a bit… However he had made up for everything in the climax… He has made a bold statement on media which is not bringing news but selling news… Worth the watch for its serious subject, good cast and direction…
