The Dark Knight Rises

The Dark Knight Rises: A very impressive conclusion to the trilogy… By far the best trilogy I have seen… It’s hard to deliver when the expectations are high, Nolan has surpassed it… The screenplay, music, visuals, acting the movie scores well all round… Must Watch

The Amazing Spiderman

The Amazing Spiderman – Spiderman story retold… This time they have tried to stay more closer to the comic… If you are expecting something amazing then you would be disappointed… Otherwise it’s a nice watch… The movie is bit dark throughout and slow as well… They could have increased the pace bit which might have

Ezham Arivu

Ezham Arivu – worth a watch entertainer with commendable performance by Suriya and able direction from Murugadoss. “India had a rich cultural heritage and people not only excelled in arts but also in science. However this has been lost over many invasions and forgotten” has been the message. However this gets diverted by too much

Mankatha

Mankatha – good casting, decent plot but poor execution. The scenes are too long and slow for a movie of this genre and too many twists spoil the fun… But for Ajith doing a baddie there is nothing in the movie… “Don’t gimme any more!” Can Skip it

KO

KO – a wholesome entertainer from KV Anand. But for a couple of songs which seems out of place, the movie is well paced and engaging the audience throughout. Coming from a cinematographer its a visual treat…. Must Watch

Enthiran

Endhiran – Kudos to Shankar and Rajini to do a script which did not rally around Rajini’s mass value, out and out Shankar movie with a different concept, larger than life incidents, dramatic sequences, a great entertainer. only short coming was the length of the movie, Shankar had tried reinforcing several things to prepare the

Inception

Inception – Nolan has successfully incepted the idea in all movie goers that he is the best film maker of present time… Fantastic movie with a complex concept told very well and gripping… Must Watch

Pazhassi Raja

Pazhassi Raja – Watched it on DVD finally. Talented scripting brings the characters of the 18th Century alive again. Ilayaraja’s background score had added life to the Script making it more interesting to watch it. Watch it for fantastic screen play and brilliant acting… Must Watch

Iron Man 2

Iron man 2 struggles hard to keep up the pace with its prequel… Still a decent attempt and can be watched in the theaters Watchable
